  1. I found it interesting that this article said most people take their social security at 62 - boy, that sure reduces your monthly deposit for the rest of your life. I plan to live a LONG time, and am waiting until I'm 70 to collect mine. I want those deferred credits. It will make a real diffrence in my income, and in the meantime, I'm collecting 1/2 of my ex-husband's SS. I think it will be worth waiting. Interesting article... :)
