Writing a List

I am big on writing lists.  I don't always keep them.  I don't always use them.  I just like the process of writing down the things I need to do or remember.  I feel more organized.  Instead of thoughts bouncing around my brain like a racquetball, the ideas, to-dos, and to-think-abouts put on a list seem to free up brain space yet cement it in my memory.  I made a list of things to accomplish this weekend and forgot it on my desk.  Humm.   So much for the cement it in memory part.

Have a lovely weekend.

  1. I just made a list today of all the things we need to get done before we can leave for the summer. Love lists.

  2. Ha ha yes, that's the downside of lists -- you have to remember to consult them!

  3. Such appears to be the list protocol these days, Barbara. 🙂

  4. HA HA. My husband makes a list to go to the store and ALWAYS leaves the list on the kitchen island. It makes me laugh when I see it there and he is gone! I used to find it a bit annyoying, now when I see it, it makes me smile.

  5. I think writing it down makes some difference..... at least you tend to remember some of it :-)

  6. I write lists also but I always forget where I put them.

Note to self: Pin the next list to my shirt.
